Saba Qamar Threatens Rs 100 Million Defamation Lawsuit Against Journalist Naeem Hanif
Saba Qamar has issued a legal notice to journalist Naeem Hanif, warning of a Rs 100 million defamation lawsuit over what she calls “false and baseless allegations” made about her personal life in a recent YouTube interview.
The Kamli and Pamaal star shared the legal notice on her Instagram story, demanding that Hanif remove the content, issue a public apology, and refrain from spreading misinformation. Her legal team has given him seven days to comply or face court proceedings.

Qamar said that no one has the right to fabricate stories for views or attention, calling the remarks deeply damaging to her reputation. Her response has sparked widespread discussion on media ethics, privacy, and respect for women in Pakistan’s entertainment industry.

Supporters online have praised her for taking a stand against sensationalism, calling her move a bold reminder of accountability in digital journalism.
