As Stranger Things prepares for its highly anticipated final season, off-screen tensions have drawn almost as much attention as the show itself. Reports suggest that Millie Bobby Brown, who has portrayed Eleven since her early teens, filed a formal complaint against her co-star David Harbour, known to audiences as Hawkins’ beloved sheriff Jim Hopper, before production began on Season 5, accusing him of bullying and harassment.

The complaint was reportedly extensive and led Netflix to open an internal investigation that lasted several months. While no sexual misconduct allegations were made, some outlets allege that Brown had a personal representative on set during filming of the final season.

Neither actor has commented publicly, and Netflix has not shared the results of its inquiry. With production wrapped and the final season scheduled to release in three parts: Volume 1 on November 26, Volume 2 on December 25, and the finale on December 31, according to Netflix’s announcement, fans are left wondering whether any behind-the-scenes tension might show on screen or if the extra buzz will simply drive more people to watch.

The reports have divided fans who have long adored the father-daughter bond between Brown’s Eleven and Harbour’s Hopper. Either way, Stranger Things is ending with more drama than anyone expected, both on and off the screen.
