The 6th Annual Qaumi Mushaira

The 6^th Annual Qaumi Mushaira held at the historic Mohatta Palace in Karachi, was well attended with over 2,500 guests from diverse background participating in the event. The popular mushaira is annually endorsed by the legendary Iftikhar Arif. The late writer and poet Amjad Islam Amjad shared the same opinion. The Corporate Pakistan Group (CPG) organized the event.

Adnan Rizvi, the Convenor of the mushaira coordinated with the poets, members and partners. The décor at Mohatta Palace was arranged by Syed Mubashir Imam. Their expertise in lighting and design transformed the venue into a magical setting, enhancing the overall experience for all the attendees.

Senator Faisal Sabzwari hosted the mushaira. His eloquence and uniqueness added to the literary setting. The Qaumi Mushaira has become a cherished tradition, contributing to Karachi’s cultural richness and Pakistan’s vibrant poetry scene. The organizers feel that this tradition and hosting should continue improving the events further in the coming years. They have announced February 1, 2025 as the date for the 7^th Annual Qaumi Mushaira.
